Anxiety-Reducing Foods

May is Mental Health Awareness month and I thought it would be helpful to share some anxiety-reducing foods. Which ones are your favorite?
Pumpkins Seeds - I add these to my morning yogurt everyday! They are packed with magnesium which studies have shown help relieve anxiety, stress, and make you calmer.
Brown Rice - my family loves the @seedsofchange organic quinoa and brown rice mix. It’s a staple in our pantry.
Salmon - a great source of vitamin D
Turkey - if you’re going with deli meat, look for labels that say ‘NO added nitrates or nitrites’
Almonds - munch on some as a snack (about 12 is a good serving size)
Butternut Squash - packed with mood-boosting ingredients like magnesium, potassium, and manganese
Flaxseeds - sprinkle some in a smoothie!
